Sliabh Beagh Hike Sunday 27th March
Our second guided hike of the year takes place this Sunday, March 27. The hike will incorporate Co. Monaghan's highest peak, the summit of Sliabh Beagh (which is actually in Co. Fermanagh), the three county hollow where counties Fermanagh, Monaghan and Tyrone meet, and the Shane Bernagh stables.
The summit of Co. Monaghan isn't the easiest place to navigate to as the final stretch takes places across open bog with no established pathway or summit marker. This guided hike is an ideal opportunity to visit both summits of Co. Monaghan and Sliabh Beagh in the company of other like-minded hikers.
The weather forecast is looking really good all week and this weekend. On a clear day you can enjoy spectacular views of many surrounding counties on Sliabh Beagh.
Tickets for this guided hike are available to purchase on Eventbrite now. More information about this and other events can also be found in the events section on our website.
