The Gathering - Brehon Brewhouse

This will be a ticketed event and limited to 50 people, tickets cost €50 and will be going live on web shop in the coming days. The event kicks off at 2pm on the 13th of August and the ticket price includes a full brewery tour, an open bar(4 taps pouring), plenty of pizza and a few more surprises too.

Pottery Workshops

Join our expert ceramicists for a one-off pottery workshop where you will learn core ceramics skills.
Aoife and Lily, two members of our ceramics team, will be teaching pottery workshops on Saturdays throughout the summer season. They will share their knowledge of the ceramic craft with you and help you create a ceramic piece of your own.
Our pottery workshops are perfect for all ages and will teach you a range of pottery skills, providing you with a therapeutic, creative outlet.
Take some time for yourself and learn a new skill, express your creativity and have some fun!

The bog Snorkelling Competition

Mad About Monaghan is delighted to be supporting the long-awaited return of the Bog Snorkelling competition. This year all funds raised will go to The Castleblayney Cancer Society., There is a Go Fund Me page set up. Please donate here. We also encourage you to nominate a friend or family member to get sponsored to take the challenge. To enter on the day the fee is €20. However, we wish to maximise the return to the cancer society, so there will be a special prize for whoever raises the most money. If you wish to be a spectator, we ask that you please donate on the day. Covid guidelines will be adhered to at all times.
