Mullan Village

The picturesque 19th century mill village of Mullan is one of the few well-preserved examples of early rural industrial development in existence in Ireland. Mullan derives its name from the Irish Muileann meaning ‘Mill’. The village contained a substantial flax mill and was at the centre of the linen industry in the 18th and early 19th century.

Tin Church Laragh

It is part of Ireland’s irreplaceable built heritage and was listed as a Building of National Importance by National Inventory of Architectural Heritage in 2014.

The Ulster Canal Stores Clones is a beautifully restored Visitor Centre, situated on the banks of the Ulster Canal. Built c.1839, within its gorgeous cut limestone walls you will receive a warm traditional Irish welcome.
