The Paddy Kavanagh Centre

The recently renovated Patrick Kavanagh Centre in Inniskeen is a fantastic tribute to the native County Monaghan poet and writer. Reared on a small farm in south Monaghan, where he lived until the age of 35, this exhibition charts his life, his trials and tribulations, his great successses (and some failures!) It is a stunning, evocative, informative, insightful and educational experience. The MAM project says that this is not for your bucket list…. get into the car (or get on the bus) and get there asap.

The Patrick Kavanagh Centre is open Monday to Friday
from 10am til 4:30pm. Saturday and Bank Holidays 11am til 4.30pm

Admission is limited to groups of 5 people
