Every Saturday during the summer months, you can join a free walking tour of Monaghan town at 11am from The Westenra Arms Hotel, approx 90 mins. Areas of note along the tour include; Peter’s Lake, Mill Street, Monaghan County Museum, the Market House, the Dawson Monument, Church Square, the Shambles River / Ulster Canal, Dublin Street, The Diamond and all the stops in between!
