The Winning Anthem & Finalists

The Entekra search for a Monaghan anthem proved a huge success. 47 entries were received, scroll down have a listen to the final 5 songs.

We start with Charlie McGettigan (A very well known signer song writer).

Niall Teague, originally from Belfast now living in Galway, along with his co writer Padraig Joyce.

Sean Hughes (from Castleblayney and front man of the Outlaws)

The O’Leary Clann (Two of whom are Joyce and Ruth O’Leary AKA SEPHIRA… the Irish rock violinists)

And the winning anthem; Tim O’Riordan from Co.Cork with Let This Be The Day.
