State Of The Art Arenas
Mullaghmore Equestrian Centre is an Aire Approved Centre based near Tydavnet, Co. Monaghan. The centre is situated 7km from Monaghan town and close to the border. The centre is operated by the Mc Carra famiy. It opened in 2005. The establishment is well known for its warm and friendly welcome, professional operation and fantastic staff.
Mullaghmore Equestrian Centre features two state of the art purpose- built arenas; one outdoor and one indoor which is ideal for the Irish summers! There is a cross country field on site which includes a water jump and a variety of natural and man-made jumps. There is also a saddlery shop on the premises. A purpose built outdoor sensory trail was designed in 2016 especially for children and adults with special needs. The trail consists of different materials such as stones, sand, fibre and gravel. With lots of colours & numbers & letters to be seen for all the kids to enjoy!
Specialise in Therapeutic Riding
We specialise in therapeutic riding for both adults and children. Our Staff are fully qualified and have up to date first aid, child protection and are Garda Vetted.
At Mullaghmore Equestrian Centre we cater for all levels from beginners to advanced levels. Something for all the family. No experience required. We provide horse-riding packages for birthday parties, corporate groups, hen and stag parties.
We offer full and half board livery here at Mullaghmore for any horse owners that would like to bring their own horses along where you can avail of all the amenities.
Experience A Night of Glamping
We provide 1/2 day mountain hacks on Sliabh Beagh Mountain where you can discover the unspoilt beauty of hacking through the Sliabh Beagh’s blanket bog and numerous lakes. Due to its geology and the peatland flora and fauna, part of the remote rolling moorland has been designated as a natural heritage area. Enjoy the challenge of horse riding to Sliabh Beagh’s highest point, close to the Three County Hollow, where Tyrone, Fermanagh and Monaghan meet.
You can Experience a night of glamping in our log cabin which is available for overnight stays overlooking the beautiful paddocks of Mullaghmore Equestrian Centre & enjoy a barbecue by the fire. The cabin is also perfect for day hire for afternoon teas, birthday parties for your little one or that get together, with seated pods to enjoy the immense views! Absolutely ideal for picnics.
