The Batch Loaf.

The renowned and locally acclaimed Batch Loaf started its life in 2014. Generations previous, the first master baker, Barney Lavery, decided to pass on the famous family recipe of the batch loaf to further generations. It was the hallmark of baking and bread in Monaghan for decades.

With baking in the Lavery blood and pride in their much-loved product, the most recent generation fo Laverys progressed to other fields and experimented in other ares of business.

Thus in 2014, Cathy and Paul opened the Batch Loaf above their thriving bar premises, The Poc Fada. In the intervening years, the Batch Loaf has won a myriad of awards for its fantastic food,

service and hospitality. The Batch Loaf is considered one of the finest dining locations in all of the north east region of Ireland. Bookings are essential due to its popularity.

David, Garth in the kitchen and Lorraine and Shirley in the dining rooms lead a fantastic team.There is also a great kids menu with lots of enticements to ids who may be a little food fussy. A fantastic location for small parties and special celebrations.
