My name is Geraldine Hamill. I’ve been hairdressing over 20 years have a Masters in colouring and  have won numerous awards for hair extensions and hair loss.

I run a beautiful salon in the centre of Monaghan town for 7 years which is also the home to my brand Diamond Hair Extensions and hair-loss clinic.

I have been fitting hair extensions for over 15  years and teach correct application methods to students.

Through the years I regularly meet clients who have suffered hair loss, whether due to alopecia, cancer treatment, burns or thinning scalps.

It can be very distressing for them, as your hair is really your crown. We always put them at ease, explain what we can do, how we can do it with sensitivity and respect.

We are completely client-centred and we listen to all their concerns. They often arrive very nervous and upset but they finish their treatment feeling so much better about themselves and much happier to look in the mirror  and smile back at that same person!

TRICHOTILLOMANIA, transgender ,male and female pattern baldness etc where extensions just could not be used for these clients so I got into studying hair-loss and scalp issues. I travelled to England and  to many places in Ireland to train in hair loss/recovery  over the  years and through that I learned the skill off making my very own bespoke wigs!

I also  currently do over 16 methods off hair extensions and hair loss methods for women /men and children! 

I absolutely love my salon and all I have achieved and I am glad that I can help so many people! I’m also HSE registered for Monaghan, Louth ,Meath and Cavan for anyone who has a medical card.
